Our approach to privacy
TubGetaways is a travel research directory. You can browse our public pages without creating an account or directly providing your name, postal address or payment details to us.
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed through normal website operation, how it may be used and the choices available to you. It does not govern hotels, booking platforms, map providers or other websites that have their own privacy policies.

Search information
When you use the destination search, the words you enter are sent to our search endpoint so matching pages can be returned. Search terms are not used by the site to create a user profile.
Technical and usage information
Our hosting infrastructure may automatically process standard request information such as an IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, language settings and diagnostic or security events. This information helps deliver the site, prevent abuse and troubleshoot errors.
Information you choose to send
If you contact us through a contact method that is published on the site, we may receive the details included in your message, such as your name, email address and the content of your request. Please do not send payment card information, government identifiers, health records or hotel account passwords.

Third-party services and links
Services outside TubGetaways
Some features request content from external services. Interactive maps may load tiles from OpenStreetMap infrastructure, and certain pages may display externally hosted images. These providers may receive technical request data such as your IP address, browser information and the requested asset.
Hotel, booking, source and reference links take you to third-party websites. When you follow one of those links, the destination service controls its own data collection, cookies, accounts, reservation details and payments. Review its privacy policy before submitting personal or payment information.
Data retention
How long information may be kept
Technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for site operation, diagnostics, security and legal compliance, according to the settings of the relevant hosting or infrastructure provider. Messages sent to us may be retained while the request is handled and for a reasonable recordkeeping period afterward.
Retention periods can vary depending on the type of record, legal requirements, security needs and whether information is needed to resolve a dispute.
Your privacy rights
Choices available to you
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection concerning personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and appeal a denied privacy request.
We may need enough information to understand and verify a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. Because the public site does not currently offer user accounts, TubGetaways may have little or no directly identifiable information about a visitor beyond limited technical records.
California notice: We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined under California privacy law.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for general audiences
TubGetaways is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the site, use the contact method published on the website so the issue can be reviewed.
Security
Protecting information
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled through the site. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for a request.

For a privacy question, correction request or rights request, use the contact method published on TubGetaways and clearly label the message “Privacy Request.” Include the country or US state where you live and enough detail for us to understand the request. Do not include sensitive identification documents unless they are specifically and securely requested.
